Together with industry leaders from top PR firms, we've developed Alpha Echo, a platform which consolidates client brand analytics and campaign documents into one simple, easy to use interface for both clients and consultants to use. Our deep media partnerships have facilitated a simple marketplace for both earned and paid media, allowing us to guarantee our clients with media placements in specific publications of their choice.
On the back end, we're automating away all the repetitive and uninteresting admin work involved in trad PR, and letting PR consultants do more of what they love best - writing stories and interacting with new clients. The Role
The Accounting & Finance Executive supports the full spectrum of accounting and finance operations across the Malaysia and Singapore entities. This role covers full set of accounts, financial reporting, tax compliance, and day-to-day accounting functions. You’ll be hands‑on with the numbers, detail‑oriented in execution, and proactive in supporting process improvements - all while working closely with the Accounting & Finance Manager to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting Operations
Handle the full set of accounts for assigned entities, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.Prepare monthly journal entries and ensure accurate posting in the accounting system.Maintain the chart of accounts and uphold accounting controls in line with company policies.Manage daily transactions, including payment processing and cashbook updates.Support month‑end closing and ensure timely submission of financial reports to management.Assist in monitoring cash flow movements and maintaining accurate cash balances.2. Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly management accounts, schedules, and analysis for review by the Manager.Support variance analysis and help explain key movements in P&L and balance sheet items.Assist in the preparation of unaudited financial statements and audit schedules.Maintain accurate and organized documentation to support financial reporting.3. Compliance & Taxation
Prepare and submit SST / GST filings accurately and on schedule.Assist with annual tax computations, ECI filings, and statutory submissions.Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretaries as required.Ensure all transactions are properly coded and compliant with tax requirements in both Malaysia and Singapore.Support implementation and upkeep of the e‑invoicing system in line with LDHN requirements.4. Continuous Improvement & Collaboration
Review existing accounting workflows and suggest process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.Support system enhancement and automation initiatives.Collaborate cross‑functionally with HR, Operations, and Management teams to resolve accounting‑related queries promptly.Uphold high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy in all deliverables.What You’ll Bring
Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3-5 years’ experience handling a full set of accounts.Working knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia accounting / taxation standards.Proficient in Xero Accounting System and Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to deadlines.Good communication and interpersonal skills — able to work independently yet thrive in a team setting.Analytical mindset with the ability to translate numbers into meaningful insights.You’ll Likely Succeed Here if You
