Overview
Responsible to prepare the monthly consolidation and relevant reports accurately, timely and in accordance with approved accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements. Provide support and assistance to the group financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Monthly investment, consolidation and board related papers and slides (quarterly)
- Monthly consolidated accounts under MFRS 17 basis and analysis including compiled management accounts
- Perform reconciliation between Finance and Actuarial data
- Group’s and Company’s performance slides
- Monthly closing, i.e. Investment entries
- Income tax return and tax estimation
- Monthly tax provision and instalments
- Annual tax return in compliance with Income Tax Act and Public Rulings
- Bank Negara, Bursa Announcement and LTH reporting
- Analysis and compilation of BNM queries
- Bursa Announcement
- Quarterly LTH reporting
- IIIP
- Limited audit review / Year-end Audit and Preparation of Financial statements & Annual Report
- Coordinate and compile audit schedules and ensure timely deliverables
- Preparation of Financial statements & Annual Report
- Involved in compliance of the MFRS 17 which include relevant reporting
- Other ad-hoc assignments assigned by management and back up for Reporting team.
Qualification / Requirement
Recognized accounting degree or professional accounting qualification or is currently pursuing professional accounting qualification.Strong knowledge of accounting standards and framework.Seniority level
