The Senior HR Administrator plays a key role in supporting the HR Business Partner (HRBP) across a broad spectrum of HR functions. From recruitment and onboarding to performance management, disciplinary procedures, learning and development, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance—this role is instrumental in shaping a positive and productive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the recruitment function for the group (including maintaining job postings; shortlisting candidates; scheduling and conducting interviews; maintaining detailed recruitment records, creating offers / contracts, conducting reference and background checks, etc.).
  • Analyze data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices and turnover.
  • Serve as trusted resource for employees navigating employment concerns, offering guidance and support as needed.
  • Assist with the performance management process; provide advice and recommendations for disciplinary procedures.
  • Assist with the coordination of learning and development initiatives.
  • Administer the onboarding process, including organizing travel arrangements, new hire administration, benefits enrolment, and induction.
  • Administer the offboarding process, including calculating final pay and benefits administration.
  • Assist with payroll administration.
  • Assist in the administration of all Immigration requirements; support new hires through the work permit application process; assist with Immigration issues as they arise, discussing available options and solutions with Management.
  • Maintain accurate employee records through BambooHR; conduct periodical audits of employee records.
  • Assist with policy development and awareness.
  • Contribute to special HR projects.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or HR qualification.
  • 3- 5 years’ experience in HR administration.
  • Expertise in Cayman Islands employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with BambooHR and HR Manager is advantageous.
  • High integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
