We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager with expertise in the Semiconductor / Medical Life-Science / Aerospace Industries to drive new business penetration, expand customer networks, and increase sales revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B sales, market expansion, and new client acquisition, with a proven ability to secure payments and build long-term business relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target new business opportunities in the Semiconductor / Medical Life-Science / Aerospace Industries
- Develop and execute strategies to enter new markets and acquire new customers.
- Conduct market research to assess competition, industry trends, and potential growth areas.
- Build a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, cold outreach, and networking.
Industry Knowledge (Semiconductor / Machinery)
Leverage technical and commercial knowledge of semiconductor equipment, industrial machinery, or related products.Understand customer pain points and position company solutions effectively.Stay updated on industry developments, emerging technologies, and key players.Building New Customer Network
Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., procurement managers, engineering heads, C-level executives).Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand business connections.Market Segmentation and Targeting New Customers for Business Development
Achieve and exceed sales targets by driving new and repeat business.Develop pricing strategies, negotiate contracts, and close deals profitably.Work closely with technical teams to align customer needs with product offerings.Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to management.Receipt of Payment from Customers
Ensure timely collections by following up on invoices and payment schedules.Resolve payment disputes and maintain healthy cash flow.Implement credit control measures to minimize overdue accounts.Additional Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare and present business proposals, RFQs, and tenders.Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, finance) to ensure smooth order execution.Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.Maintain CRM records and track sales performance metrics.Sales & Negotiation : Strong ability to persuade, negotiate, and close deals.Market Research & Analysis : Ability to identify trends and opportunities.CRM Proficiency : Experience with CRM toolsTechnical Acumen : Understanding of semiconductor / machinery products.Networking & Relationship Building : Proven ability to engage high-level stakeholders.Financial Acumen : Experience in managing receivables and profitability.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Self-Motivation : Driven to achieve targets with minimal supervision.Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field.10+ years in B2B sales / business development in semiconductor, machinery, or industrial equipment.Proven track record of new client acquisition and revenue growth.Experience in international markets (preferred).Unlock job insights
