Executive Producer

Penerangan pekerjaanMinimum 4 years of experience in a similar position. Strong organizational, planning and leadership skills to coordinate conflicting deadlines and interruptions. Interpersonal, team building, and collaborative skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in word, excel, and the technical drawing software used in a livestream. Lead the production team who is responsible for the day-to-day creation of Shopee-live produced streams To lead in undertaking the research, vision and graphic preparation, plus other essential tasks required to ensure that the daily scheduled programmes are visually strong, relevant, editorially strong, Malaysian focused, and of a language and visually high standard. To assist in preparing the proposal for the project where necessary Liaise closely with other teams to ensure the delivery of output into other platforms - e.g., social media, Youtube, etc. Expected to develop skills towards those of a Producer and will, on many occasions, be expected to act up to the Producer role Live Studio : In studio, there will be duties including putting graphics to air live, running autocue and other non-technical studio related duties Composing programs, infomercials and short video clips To assist Producers in composing programs, infomercials and short video clips; copy writing and casting guests, models and locations; provide all information as and when required for a home shopping program. Scripting To provide show hosts with a baseline script and information as well as any other information required for a program. Write well informed and researched scripts that are relevant and exciting. Develop and create new and exciting scripting styles suited for each production. Guide and lead writers (including contributors and freelancers if necessary) on all productions' scripts and ideas. Conceptualization & Content Development A team member in conceptualising show ideas for fit to market based on research and relevance. Ensure all content adheres to the local regulatory and sensitivity issue guideline. Work with correspondents including creative researchers in developing editorial and content materials. To produce editorial content. Develop well informed and researched production and show ideas from a scripting perspective. Provide constant feedback to writers (including contributors and freelancers if necessary) regarding editorial materials for the programmes / productions. Organise and update database of writers and contributors. Editorial Planning And Strategy Planning of the annual and monthly editorial plans, inclusive of the development and implementation of features and scheduling strategies for the programs. To identify strategic content needs and the right features for the identified programs. To continuously seek innovative ideas in order to stay ahead in the competitive environment. To consistently survey and review the editorial feedback as to assist in strategy formulation and review of the positioning as well as to fine-tune and improve content. To monitor the programs and identify the needs of the viewers. Production / Operations Meeting standard accuracy of graphics. Quality of Photo / image generation & selection. Creation of vision items for on-air programming. Development Potential for Producer role. Participating in the post production and marketing and distribution of each project to ensure organisation targets are achieved. Variable and often long hours including nights and weekends. Variable hours of work depending on performance and event schedules. Consistent ability to interact with a wide range of temperaments.
Job Description
- Responsible for bridging the communication gap between the Business / Content team with the Production team.
- Work very closely with the Shopee Live Business team in order to produce positive results in the livestreams.
- Willing and able to change and adapt very quickly to accommodate changes.
- Clear understanding
- Strong ability to pick out points of improvement for the team and act on achieving results.
- Responsible for securing the sourcing and set-up of required technology, infrastructure and equipments.
- Actively collates each livestream show's performance into a proper report - able to independently analyse ways in improving performance (e.g., viewerships, orders) from a production perspective.
- Experienced in working closely with Coordinate closely with stage manager
- Takes on special projects and other duties as assigned.
