Senior Analyst, Communications Surveillance

What is the opportunity?

Our client is a specialist provider of asset services, custody, payments and treasury services. Founded in 1864, they are a large global bank recognized for financial strength and leadership.

Our client has a processing centre of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones with a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies and support a 24 / 5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance scalability of global operations, improve service quality via centres of excellence, and to implement and leverage standardised processes globally.

Working hours : 9.00am – 6.00pm

What will you do?

• Conduct an initial (Level 1) review of electronic and audio communications surveillance alerts to monitor for market abuse risks and risks associated with breaches of company policies and applicable regulations related to financial / securities markets’ misconduct.
• Drive forward RBC’s electronic and audio communications surveillance monitoring functionality with ongoing assessment of efficiency and reporting to management.
• Assist with Compliance Investigations and other projects as required.
