ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM

To assure SITA's competitive strength and business growth through the provision of the highest quality technical field services to SITA customers in airports or at their premises. Perform all field services activities according to SITA standards and procedures maximizing customer satisfaction by the delivery of first class on-site field maintenance and support activities.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Oversee operational activities and deliver essential support to clients.
• Respond promptly to emergency callouts and implement measures to ensure system uptime.
• Manage system availability in accordance with the SLA agreement.
• Conduct daily inspections of the machines.
• Create and report incidents to the clients
• Monitor and follow up on the operational incidents.
• Manage incidents and service request in the client ITSM tool.
• Responsible for Testing of equipment (peripherals).
• Compile and manage both internal and external operation and maintenance reports.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule (SBD Kiosk, Electrical control panel, Mechanical conveyor systems and Gate systems etc)
• Record all maintenance activities following established procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage spare parts according to requirements.
• Engage with clients to address their needs and provide support
• Keep the Customer updated on all call interventions and act as single point of contact for all fault calls, owning any issues affecting the services to resolution.
• Coordinate with Airline, Airport Infrastructure and BHS team for external issues.
• Attend to all electrical, mechanical, and IT breakdowns, PLC issues, hardware failures, or malfunctions swiftly and report them to the team leads and clients.
• Escalate incidents to other levels but retain overall accountability and management of all incidents.
• Responsible for providing feedback to users on fault resolution.
• Where necessary maintain a regular contact with any Third Party to ensure timely resolution of fault.
• Restart single devices or the complete system and reconfiguration of the system.
• Exchange faulty units and send it to the supplier or Materna for replacement or repair and reception of the same when repaired.
• Support on site when needed from the 3rd level.
• No shifts but need to be on standby if there is any escalation
