ENGINEER (CONTRACT)

FACILITIES DEPARTMENT

Responsibilities :

• Conceive and propose departmental infrastructure project and maintenance work
• Ensure all maintenance contracts and projects related to the function of Building Services (BS) Section are well planned and implemented
• Monitor and streamline departmental budget allocation for each unit activity
• Check, evaluate and recommend quotation for departmental project and maintenance works
• Check, evaluate and recommend payment for contractors after work completion
• Ensure all defect complaint are attended, rectify and completed within approved time frame
• Ensure all buildings, its components and compounds are well maintained
• Design, specify work specification and drawing for construction purposes
• Coordinate and analyze technical and administration issue from all units and propose recommendation for HOD approval
• Plan for timely upgrading and refurbishment of company's installations
• Ensure all company's installations and operations are incompliance with relevant acts and regulations governing and industry
• Vet and review new planning submission plans and ensure timely reply
• Ensure availability of skilled, competent and motivated workforce
• Contribute towards effective relations with relevant government agencies, regulators and organizations

Requirements

Positions offered is contract for one ( 1 ) year prior to the absorption into permanent posts and subject to job performance.
