Overview
Role Overview : Our Construction Manager role requires the successful candidate to deliver the design & built of onshore turn key EPCC scope of works, ensuring strict and timely project management so the project is delivered on time, cost optimised, and compliant with client requests and legal regulations. This is a 2-year contract role.
Location and travel
Base location : Shah Alam, Selangor
Travel / Overseas Posting : ASEAN
Pre-requisites / Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science (or equivalent) degree in engineering from an accredited university with minimum 15 years relevant experience in the oil / gas industry, particularly in Southeast Asia. (Experience in LNG and oil & gas is mandatory)
- Must have minimum 5 years of similar management position in major LNG & oil / gas projects
- An advanced degree in construction management is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with latest construction methods, modern project management techniques, and environmental engineering aspects.
- Experience coordinating contract packages, constructability review, site plan management, tracking construction progress. Specifically, experience in management of construction interfaces and coordination of construction activities with Marine Contractor / Construction Manager is required.
- Experience planning the whole construction process from inception through to completion and ability to create programmes underpinned by a programme narrative.
- Relevant LNG and oil & gas project experience.
Responsibilities
Managing the site construction progress to ensure the project is delivered on time, safely, in compliance with requirements and within allocated budget.Supervising teams and managing subcontractors / vendors relating to piping, mechanical equipment erection, and electrical works.Reporting Line
