Business Analyst (Technical)

Role : Business Analyst. (Must write Technical Specs) For Malaysians only!

Mandatory to be Bahasa Malaysia literate (read & write).

Job Description

Responsible to elicit, analyze and validate the required specifications / requirements for software product. He / she defines the feasibility of a solution, its implementation, its interaction with the existing systems and improves the cost-effectiveness of the project / product they are involved in.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Communicates with all stakeholders and engineers at all levels of the SDLC.
• Analyzes and decomposes complex requirements.
• Analyzes the existing systems and highlights areas of improvement.
• Performs gap analysis and recommends solutions.
• Participates in project work scoping and requirements analysis, business process analysis and system architecture design.
• Documents requirements, technical design specifications, functional specifications, and software architecture documents.
• Oversees the development of the product as per the specifications.
• Validates the functionality of the software product according to the requirement specifications.
• Responsible for writing and maintaining product documentation. This includes writing and maintaining product data sheets, solution white papers, presentation slides, and manuals (e.g. User Manual, Installation Manual, Training Manual, Trouble Shooting Guide etc).
• Participates in maintaining the document repository, document control and document versioning.
• Conducts product training where necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Able to work within tight deadlines.

Education and Skills Required

Knowledge and experience in development, testing or requirement study in national identity or passport system would be an advantage.

Knowledge and experience in CMMI documentation and processes would be an advantage.

Location : TPM and later to Putrajaya.
