Job Responsibilities :
Measurement & Valuation
- Take-off quantities from drawings and site measurements.
- Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and variation orders.
- Prepare subcontractor interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.
Cost Management & Control
Monitor and control project cost against budget.Assist in cost forecasting and reporting for management.Identify, evaluate, and manage variations and claims.Support value engineering exercises to optimize project cost.Contract Administration
Review contract documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure compliance.Assist in preparing subcontract agreements and work orders.Manage correspondence relating to contractual and commercial matters.Procurement & Subcontract Management
Assist in sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers.Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and procurement schedules.Ensure subcontractor works are aligned with project requirements and budgets.Site & Project Coordination
Work closely with the project team to provide commercial support.Attend site meetings to resolve contractual and commercial issues.Verify site progress and certify subcontractor claims.Final Accounts & Reporting
Prepare and agree on final accounts with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and reference.Prepare monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.Qualification :
Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.Knowledge & Job Specific Skills :
Minimum 2–5 years working experience in a main contractor environment.Good knowledge of contract administration (PAM / JKR / CIDB or other relevant forms of contract).Strong analytical and negotiation skills.Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Glodon).Good communication and teamwork skills.Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.Terms and Conditions of the Role :
