Building Maintenance Technician

Job Overview : The Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overall upkeep of our BnB properties. This role involves troubleshooting issues, performing regular inspections, and ensuring that all facilities are in excellent working condition to ensure a pleasant stay for our guests. A key aspect of this role is taking the initiative, addressing urgent maintenance issues within 24 hours, and effectively communicating with the customer service team to attend to guest reports and complaints.

Key Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on property infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and appliances.
• Take initiative in identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests, prioritizing and attending to urgent issues within 24 hours.
• Communicate with the customer service team to address and resolve guest reports and complaints effectively and in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular inspections of property systems and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and inventory of supplies.
• Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruption to guests.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.
• Assist with setting up and managing preventative maintenance schedules.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other staff members as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to suggest improvements and upgrades.
