Core Responsibilities
- Organizes training & development activities by following the company standards and requirement.
- Develops new training programs which meet specific hotel training needs, ensures the programs are structured and integrated.
- Uses company benchmarks, e.g. Employee Satisfaction Survey, Guest Satisfaction Survey, to monitor success of training programs and makes amendment accordingly.
- Monitors Department Heads to take their responsibilities of training employees.
- Assists Department Trainers in preparing and conducting departmental training and assesses the effectiveness.
- Prepares training plan for interns and monitors the implementation.
- Works with ADOHR on the preparation of hotel training budget.
- Assists in monitoring and controlling departmental training cost to ensure performance against budget.
- To plan, co‑coordinate and administer the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) in accordance to the allocated financial year’s training & development budget.
Requirements
Degree from an accredited university in Hospitality or Business or any related qualification with more than 3 years’ experience in managing Training and Development function, preferably with a 5 star international property.Candidates with in‑house or external certification in various training programs preferably in service, management and leadership programs, along with experience in Le Meridien or Marriott International properties are preferred.Senior Level
