Production Manager - Cable Manufacturing

Overview

Oversee and manage the entire Cable manufacturing production process to meet output, quality, and cost targets.

Plan and develop processes to manage and control environmental aspects in compliance with ISO 14001 : 2015.

Provide necessary documentation and resources as required by product and regulatory standards.

Oversee daily planning, organizing, and directing of manufacturing activities under controlled conditions.

Manage the entire factory operation to ensure production of quality products for both local and export markets.

Monitor and optimize manpower utilization to maximize efficiency.

Ensure preventive maintenance is carried out according to schedule to sustain machine and die capability.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with machine parts suppliers and contractors.
• Evaluate supplier offers and select cost-effective options in coordination with marketing and purchasing departments to reduce maintenance costs.
• Ensure machines and equipment are maintained in optimum operating condition.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and breakdowns for analysis and continuous improvement.
• Determine, provide, and maintain necessary infrastructure and resources to meet production requirements.
• Coordinate and facilitate internal audits on behalf of management.
• Monitor and enforce quality-related activities throughout the production line.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by superiors.
