Key Responsibilities
Develop and review Safety Instrumented System (SIS) Lifecycle Plans and proceduresProvide expert guidance on Functional Safety across all phases of facility developmentLead and participate in HAZOP and LOPA workshopsDefine and review Safety Critical Elements (SCEs) and ensure SIL complianceManage functional safety consultants and subcontractors to deliver high-quality assessmentsOversee assurance tasks during design, procurement, construction, and commissioningPerform SIL verification , guide engineers in data collection, and ensure cross-disciplinary alignmentContinuously improve safety practices and technical standards across the organizationRequirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Safety EngineeringMinimum 18 years of experience in Functional Safety within the oil and gas sectorProfessional certification such as CFSE (exida) , TÜV Functional Safety Engineer , or equivalent is highly preferredStrong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skillsProven ability to manage complex safety systems and mentor engineering teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
