Sales Executive

Job Description

The Sales Executive will focus on developing new accounts in Malaysia, with a priority on Industrial Sales and ideally, EMC / RF knowledge. The role involves selling UL's products, systems, and services, emphasizing prospecting and direct sales to penetrate untapped markets in the industrial sector, with a strong focus on new business development.

70% Hunter, 30% Farmer role

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and executing sales strategies, acquiring new accounts aggressively, and maintaining client relationships to drive growth and meet revenue targets.
• Promote and sell UL services with a consultative, "hunter" approach, leading presentations, handling objections, preparing quotes, and closing deals, focusing on high-potential clients while retaining existing ones.
• Build and manage prospect pipelines, overseeing the new business process from prospecting to close.
• Actively pursue new prospects through market research, tradeshows, direct mail, cold-calling, and referrals, understanding decision-makers and purchasing needs.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the industrial sector, focusing on companies requiring EMC / RF testing for their products.
• Collaborate with the technical team to align testing capabilities with client requirements.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business
