Join or sign in to find your next job. We are hiring for the role of Associate Director, Actuarial Analyst to join the Reinsurance team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities
- Experience in various actuarial pricing techniques such as experience and exposure rating.
- High level of proficiency in dynamic financial analysis (DFA) for reinsurance optimisation and pricing.
- Understand various reinsurance structures, manage risk, and implement them within the modelling framework.
- Establish and uphold actuarial best practices, including technical peer review, with potential to participate in the regional Actuarial Practice Group (APG).
- Serve as actuarial territorial contact, liaising with clients and colleagues to set project objectives and outcomes and manage projects.
- Deliver presentations and conduct training sessions related to actuarial work and methods for colleagues and clients.
- Peer review projects and mentor junior analysts as required.
- Provide support around workflow management for renewals, delivering project outcomes for domestic and regional clients.
- Drive improvements in efficiency of actuarial projects aligned with commercial needs and articulate outcomes clearly.
Qualifications and Experience
University graduate in Actuarial Studies or related fields (mathematics, finance, statistics).Working towards associate / fellowship qualification with a recognised actuarial institute.Minimum 5 years' experience in reinsurance or insurance actuarial analytical roles, with direct insurance pricing, reserving, or capital modelling / management experience preferred.Experience with Propriety modelling software ReMetrica for reinsurance optimisation and pricing is advantageous.Strong computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Experience with catastrophe models and relevant outputs is required.Ability to use complex computer programs to cleanse data, analyse coverage and reinsurance contracts, and present information clearly to clients.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with all levels within the organization.Willingness and ability to travel within the Asia region for client presentations, seminars, and conferences as required.How We Support Our Colleagues
