Manager - Business Development (Sutures & Biosurgical) - APAC Regional
Join B. Braun, a leader in the medical devices industry, and help shape the future of healthcare. This role supports business development in the Sutures & Biosurgical segment for the APAC region within a hybrid working model.
Responsibilities
- Identify, research, evaluate, and pursue business development opportunities contributing to short- and long-term goals. Manage complex market research or analysis projects; evaluate findings, prepare reports, and recommend opportunities to senior management.
- Develop and drive portfolio strategy with local markets to expand market share, optimize pricing, and build long-term client relationships.
- Develop positioning, pricing, and marketing strategy for new products; collaborate with global and local teams to deliver product launch forecasts.
- Collaborate with B. Braun representatives in Emerging Markets to identify potential dealers, manage negotiations, prepare contracts, and provide inputs on pricing, product pipeline, and terms.
- Establish long-term professional relationships with potential clients and partners to promote products and services; refer sales leads and customer feedback to appropriate contacts and ensure timely follow-up.
- Conduct training and high-standard presentations for existing and potential customers; plan and execute product-related events (training, live surgeries, roundtable meetings) regularly. Coordinate with Supply Chain to manage inventory and ensure product availability; respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of sales, marketing, or business development experience in Sutures and Biosurgical products.Experience executing a 3-year business plan, managing product launches and campaigns, and familiarity with product listing and tender processes. Ability to organize internal trainings, external workshops, and continuing medical education for the sutures business.Experience supporting OT cases and understanding of surgical procedures is ideal. Awareness of Asia Pacific and Emerging Markets is an advantage.Ability to identify and build a KOL network; able to work independently in a complex environment with minimal supervision and a results-oriented mindset.
