Legal Manager

Overview

Our client is a market leader in the Fintech industry in Malaysia.

Responsibilities :

Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of commercial contracts.

Provide clear legal advice on the Company's projects, initiatives, and day-to-day operations.

Supervise and mentor Junior Legal Counsels where required.

Support the Legal Department with administrative and operational tasks.

Monitor and follow up on post-contract matters to ensure timely execution and compliance.

Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments, particularly in corporate, financial, and fintech sectors.

Identify potential areas of legal risk and recommend practical solutions.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support the Company's business objectives.

Undertake ad-hoc legal assignments to support the effective running of the Legal Department.

Requirements

5 to 8 years' working experience in a law firm or in-house, with a focus on corporate and commercial advisory and contract drafting.

Prior exposure to the fintech or banking industry is a plus.
