Overview
Collaborate on conceptual designs, mood boards, and space planning. Develop detailed design presentations, including 2D drawings and 3D visualizations. Source materials, finishes, and FF&E (furniture, fixtures & equipment) in line with design intent and budget.
Project Documentation
- Produce accurate construction drawings, elevations, and millwork details.
- Coordinate and document specifications for finishes, materials, and furnishings.
- Assist with documentation packages for client presentations and authority submissions.
Project Coordination
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design objectives are clearly communicated and executed.Attend site meetings, conduct site surveys, and provide design-related input during construction.Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking.Mentor junior designers and interns, providing feedback and design guidance.Work under the direction of Senior Designers or Project Leads while also independently managing smaller projects or phases.Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and accessibility standards.Review shop drawings and materials to confirm alignment with design intent.Required Skills & Qualifications
Degree / Diploma in Interior Design or a related field.3–5 years of experience in interior design, with a portfolio showcasing residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.Strong knowledge of materials, detailing, and construction methods.Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle multiple projects with minimal supervision.#J-18808-Ljbffr
