Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives to ensure efficient resource allocation and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Manage procurement processes for capital projects, including budgeting, vendor selection, and contract negotiation to support investment initiatives.
- Lead procurement activities for projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgets while mitigating risks and maximizing value.
- Oversee procurement of high-value goods and services, negotiating favorable terms to optimize costs and minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Develop and manage supplier contracts, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and fostering positive supplier relationships for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines; identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Implement inventory management practices to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and ensure the availability of critical materials.
- Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, fostering collaboration, transparency, and mutual value creation for long-term strategic partnerships.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement to meet departmental goals.
