Overview
OCBC is seeking a Merchant Relationship Manager to work with the CFS, Merchant team to acquire new merchants and grow merchant sales across channels within the assigned portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Focus on merchant account acquisition, bring in New-To-Bank (NTB) merchant accounts to increase the non-GE merchant segment.
- Manage an assigned merchant portfolio by building good merchant relationships and preventing attrition.
- Work with Card Usage Team on marketing promotions by soliciting marketing offers.
- Involve in Bank’s ongoing project initiatives for new business channels or system enhancements.
- Involve in Bank’s ongoing compliance activities like Merchant High-risk review, Third Party Service Provider Review, merchant site-visit.
- Having a merchant background is an advantage; at least 5 years of experience in Account / Client Management, Business Development or Partnership.
- Good stakeholder and team player to achieve outstanding results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Comfortable with middle to senior-level negotiations.
- Ability to derive and convey actionable insights from data and research.
- Enthusiastic and effective problem solver.
