We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our growing team in Port Klang, Selangor to deliver high-profile rail and rolling stock programs. The Electrical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment across rollingstock components. This role requires strict adherence to relevant electrical safety regulations, company protocols, and ISO standards, including ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001. The Electrical Technician will collaborate closely with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure that all tasks are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, while maintaining a strong commitment to continuous improvement and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities :
- Hands-on practical involvement in the day-to-day electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks on the workshop floor.
- First-time resolution of identified electrical repair / maintenance issues, ensuring systems are restored to full functionality with minimal rework.
- Timely and accurate diagnosis of electrical problems, using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques to identify faults or inefficiencies in electrical systems.
- Accurate and efficient completion of electrical documentation (e.g., inspection reports, maintenance logs) in compliance with company procedures and relevant safety or quality standards.
- Ensure all assigned electrical tasks are completed within the required timeframes without compromising on safety or quality.
To be successful in this role, you will have :
SKM / DKM / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Current electrical certification (Electrical Licence or equivalent).Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems, preferably in heavy industry.Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to diagnose and resolve electrical faults in a timely manner.Solid understanding of electrical tools and diagnostic equipment, with the ability to safely and accurately use these for maintenance and fault-finding tasks.Familiarity with electrical safety regulations and industry standards, including compliance with ISO9001 (Quality Management), ISO14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO45001 (Occupational Health and Safety).To be part of our growth and success story, apply now by clicking the "Apply for this job" button.
