Safety
- Lead H&S committee as committee President
- Plan overall Safety Awareness initiatives and execute safety improvement plans
- Perform required incident investigations and reporting
- Plan yearly Fire Evacuation exercise
- Zero Accident initiatives
People Management
Build team capacity and cultivate a teamwork environmentIdentify training requirement and ensure employees are adequately trained and competentCoach 2nd liners to focus on common goals and meet business objectives consistentlyPlanning, managing and adjusting staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements within the warehouseManage manpower resources effectively and support business requirementsReview staff performance regularly to identify gaps and drive team improvementsTrack staff absenteeism, sick leaves and timekeeping effectivelyOrganise quarterly team bonding events (e.g., potluck, sports day)Motivate team to achieve business targetsRelationship Management
Liaise with inter‑departments effectively with clear communicationRegular review with transporters on performance and improvementsWork closely with related departments to execute sales and companywide plansRegular discussion with forwarding partner on import shipment arrangementKPIs Management
Ensure achieve DC KPIs and identify gapsAble to monitor, gather data, and analyse data for KPIs reportingMonthly KPIs reporting to Management with justification on non‑comply KPIsPerform PDCA / Kaizen / LEAN to improve overall DC KPIs achievementOwnership of related KPIs and work with internal team to achieve the targetsOrganised weekly / monthly team meeting to address operational planning and challengesRegularly review SOPs to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of daily operational processesCost Control
Regular review on warehouse resourcesApproved overtime request based on operational requirementsReview / Approval on Schedule Work Shift (Daily and Saturdays)Monitor foreign worker performance and required headcountsMonitor warehouse packaging material usage and source for alternative for better costingWaste management including recycle materialsReporting

Handle ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by Line Manager or / and ManagementQualifications
Must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Warehouse & Logistics Management, Business, or a related fieldHave a minimum of ten (10) years of hands‑on experience in warehousing & logistics, preferably within the sports retail industryStrong understanding of warehouse & logistics management activities, shipments & manpower managementStrong analytical skills with high numerical accuracyExcellent leadership, negotiation, and suppliers’ relationship management skillsExceptional operational and coordination skillsCollaborative team player with a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environmentAdditional Information
