Role Overview
Fairview International School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Mandarin Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Mandarin language instruction, inspiring students across a range of proficiency levels, and contributing to the school’s curriculum development within the IB framework.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Mandarin language and proficiency to classes of different levels.Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive and timely feedback to students and parents.Prepare and assess student learning to support effective academic development.Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development, review, and departmental initiatives.Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and develop relevant teaching resources.Participate actively in programme meetings and subject-based meetings.Perform student management duties as required.Key Position Requirements
A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics & Literature (Mandarin) or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred.At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience in the education industry. Experience in an International School setting, especially with IB knowledge , is an added advantage.English proficiency at CEFR Level C2.A professional Teaching Qualification , preferably an IB Certificate in Teaching and Learning.Willingness to undergo training as an IB school teacher as per IBO accreditation requirements.Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.Strong commitment to and passion for education.Broad and thorough knowledge of the teaching subject.Self-motivated, responsible, caring, and innovative.Perks and Benefits
