What You Will Do Integrate and use specific industry and technical delivery methodologies, e.g. project management methodologies based on PMI, Red Hat Services project management methodology, systems and software development, agile methodologies such as scrum Drive project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting activities for Red Hat Services projects with minimal direction Manage multiple projects requirements, scope, timelines, regular customer cadence, while achieving utilisation. Establish appropriate metrics for measuring key project criteria; develop project control and reporting procedures and manage changes in operational plans Proactively manage project requirements and scope / change request related to the project. Develop and effectively present project related content to various stakeholders. Plan, schedule, monitor and report project activities effectively. Work closely with Resource Management Office to staff projects with the relevant consultants and architects, considering required skills and level of experience Assist in training the project team on the application of appropriate procedures and processes; (coach and mentor lower level project managers) Work with sales / pre-sales teams on project scope, estimates, and schedules; contribute to the project estimation and review process What You Will Bring 7+ years of experience in a project management role in IT-based projects Bachelor’s degree in a related field Knowledge of specific project management and technical delivery methodologies used in the IT industry Solid interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills; business insight Great written and verbal communication and negotiation skills Solid organisational skills including attention to details and handling of multiple project concurrently Technical knowledge and experience in Red Hat product portfolio will be an advantage Excellent Customer facing and internal communication skills Project management certification Ability to work in a team as well as on your own; ability to motivate project team and individual contributors and mediate conflicts About Red Hat Red Hat is the world’s leading provider of enterprise open source software solutions, using a community-powered approach to deliver high-performing Linux, cloud, container, and Kubernetes technologies.
