General Ledger Officer

Penerangan pekerjaanMinimum 1-2 years' experience as a General Ledger Officer or similar role in the accounting / finance industry Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices and procedures Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
About the role
We are seeking an experienced General Ledger Officer to join our team at City-Link Express (M) Sdn Bhd' headquarters in Glenmarie, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the company.
What you'll be doing
- Posting and reconciling daily financial transactions in the general ledger
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
- Analysing and resolving accounting discrepancies
- Assisting with the preparation of audit listing
- Providing financial information and analysis to support business decisions
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data
- Maintaining and improving accounting policies and procedures
- Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes
- Follow all ISO, Company policies and procedures.
- To handle any additional task handed by Superior or HOD from time to time.
