Objectives of the Position

• Ensure and elaborate on compliance within the corporate finance guidelines in all local companies
• Optimize financing structures to ensure optimal ROI on projects
• Careful selection and determination of the source of capital – determining the debt equity ratio and designing a proper capital structure for the companies
• Establish and affirm dividend policies through Asia pacific for both majority and minority owned BASF companies
• Enhance economic returns on credit facilities agreed with banks for all local companies
• Emphasize structural project administration from a financial perspective
• Develop efficient and appropriate check list for project requirements such as country regulations on new company set up

The BASF Service Hub Kuala Lumpur (BASF Asia-Pacific Service Centre Sdn Bhd) is strategically located in the capital city of Malaysia. Since its inception in 2005, the hub has expanded from 130 employees to over 1,300 employees currently and is expected to keep growing.
