Manager - Personal Financial Service (Business Client Sales - Mortgage)
Overview
The Mortgage Manager for Business Client Sales is responsible for driving mortgage business growth through customer acquisition (Business Clients and High Net Worth Individuals), strategic partnerships with real estate agents, market insight, cross‑functional collaboration, and strict adherence to compliance. By leveraging networks and integrating resources, the role enhances market share, customer experience, and contributes to the bank’s long‑term sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive mortgage sales growth by proactively generating and closing mortgage business to achieve individual and departmental sales targets.
- Leverage existing business client networks to expand market share within the bank’s target customer segments. Expand strategic business roadmaps to drive growth market share and penetration across BCS segments for PFS product (in‑house referral).
- Client acquisition – identify, approach, and convert high‑potential clients through strong personal connections and referral network (real estate agent).
- Relationship management – build and maintain long‑term relationships by providing tailored mortgage solutions that meet client needs.
- Drive strategic performance to achieve mortgage business goals; serve as the main contact point for clients and partners (REA), ensuring high levels of responsiveness, service excellence, and trust.
- Actively engage and maintain strategic relationships with real estate agencies / agents to drive mortgage business and gain deep insights into market sentiments.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes, providing feedback to management for timely action.
- Conduct periodic business and performance reviews with key partners to strengthen engagement, improve service quality, and drive retention and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Branch, Wealth, Retail, Business Banking) to capture bundled business opportunities.
- Cross‑sell to ensure smooth coordination with credit, operations, and support teams to deliver superior client experience.
- Support management in shaping business plans, campaigns, and initiatives to capture market opportunities.
- Deliver monthly performance target reports to show support visibility on sales momentum and team productivity.
- Adhere to all compliance, risk management, and service standards to protect the bank’s reputation and ensure sustainable growth.
Job Requirements
Degree holder in a relevant equivalent field.3 years and above of managerial experience in banking or a related field.Experience in client relationship management roles, high net worth client segment or equivalent preferred.Proactive and able to drive daily sales and operational performance.Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and basic negotiation skills.Well‑versed and up to date with market knowledge, able to share practical market insights.Working proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word.What’s next?
