Fund Accountant, Hybrid Fund

Job Description

This growth-oriented position has the primary responsibility for providing a full range of fund administration services to private equity and hybrid funds. The role involves applying current accounting principles to the accounting and financial reporting of funds and reviewing transaction and valuation information. A partial list of responsibilities and skills includes :

Responsibilities

• Preparation of Net Asset Value (NAV) calculation and reporting
• Coordinate investor servicing activities, including investor onboarding, capital calls, distributions, and other investor reporting
• Maintain an understanding of fund documentation and apply terms to financial reporting and income / expense allocations
• Maintain knowledge of current accounting principles and develop solutions for issues
• Prepare and review financial statements and footnotes for audit purposes
• Liaise with banks, auditors, brokers and custodians to ensure smooth service delivery and timely deliverables
• Involvement in new funds onboarding processes
• Serve as primary client contact for daily operational discussions and requests
• Resolve client queries in a timely manner and maintain high client satisfaction
• Identify opportunities for internal process improvement and increased operational efficiency
• Perform other duties as assigned
