Supervise and coordinate production workers to achieve production targets, quality, cost efficiency, and continuous improvement goals.
Determine process flow, control systems, material usage, and tooling requirements.
Participate in TED meetings, conduct NPI, document technical issues, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues before mass production.
Collaborate with relevant groups for problem-solving and decision-making.
Document process instructions, train and certify trainers, and ensure proper dissemination and implementation at the manufacturing floor.
Propose innovative or new technology solutions to streamline manufacturing processes and reduce waste.
Assist Technical Director in resolving technical issues in production.
Monitor, compile, and review manufacturing yield using FMEA; lead brainstorming sessions for yield improvement.
Work closely with Quality, Material, and Production teams for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations.
Maintain 5S and employee discipline, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Standards and the Company’s Quality Management System.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma or Degree in Engineering or related field.
At least 3 years of relevant working experience in a managerial or senior executive position.
Willing to travel for business as required.
Knowledge of plastic injection or crimping process is an added advantage.
Experience and knowledge in FMEA , LEAN management , and Six Sigma preferred.
Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Able to work flexible hours and weekends when required.
Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication abilities.
Fluent in Bahasa Melayu and English; Chinese is an added advantage.
