Veterinarian

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Performs post-mortem, blood and organ sampling for disease diagnosis and flock health monitoring
• Ensure animal health, hygiene, feeding and general care practices in the farms are conform to the Company's standard practices
• Investigate, perform analysis and recommend improvement measures on farm animal health
• Assist in coordinates and monitors the compliance of farm based on Mygap (Malaysian Good Agricultural Practices) management practices that include farm infrastructure, bio-security, GAHP (Good Animal Husbandry Practices) and animal health management and record
• Provide technical knowledge and set up farm biosecurity programme as well as provide training to farm personnel
• Assist Veterinary Manager in correspond with external officers, ie : DVS and SFA for regulatory and export matters
• Coordinates and communicates with external farm auditors from Department of Veterinary Services, Malaysia in the absence of Veterinary Manager
• Undertakes project work or ad hoc job related matters or any other duties as and when assigned / requested by the Management from time to time
