Job Description

Warehouse Operations

• Lead and manage daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.
• Ensure proper warehouse layout, space utilization, and adherence to 5S and safety standards.
• Oversee accurate inventory management through effective stock control systems, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity, reduce handling time, and improve inventory accuracy.
• Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and racking systems.
• Enforce strict adherence to HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and Halal requirements in all warehouse activities.

Logistics Management

• Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation scheduling, route optimization, and cost control.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, and 3PL providers to ensure on-time deliveries and optimized logistics costs.
• Develop logistics strategies that support business growth and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor freight costs, lead times, and service levels, driving efficiency through data analysis and supplier performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with customs, regulatory, and environmental requirements for import / export operations.

People Management

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse and logistics teams to achieve departmental KPIs.
• Establish clear performance metrics for safety, accuracy, and productivity.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Systems & Compliance

• Ensure full utilization of ERP / WMS systems to enhance visibility and control over warehouse and logistics activities.
• Drive digital transformation and automation initiatives in warehouse and logistics operations.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant safety, ISO, and regulatory standards.

The Successful Applicant

• A strong background in warehouse, logistics and supply chain management, particularly in the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in managing warehouse operations and leading teams effectively.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards in warehouse operations.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
• Comfortable working in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.
