Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Prep Assistant / Kitchen Staff to join our growing team at FUBIZO GROUP SDN. BHD. in Simpang Ampat Penang. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the timely preparation of high-quality food.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients and food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, mixing, and portioning
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment in the kitchen
  • Assist in the plating and presentation of dishes
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to support the efficient and smooth running of operations

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar food preparation or kitchen assistant role—minimum 2 years
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately
  • Good time management and multitasking skills to handle various tasks simultaneously
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with the kitchen team
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with sauce making, beverage making, baking would be an advantage
