Overview
The Retail Sales Promoter plays a key role in driving brand presence and sales performance at retail touchpoints. This position is responsible for promoting and supporting multiple assigned brands across various retail outlets, ensuring strong product visibility and customer engagement. The promoter will actively support in-store retail sales activities, product demonstrations, and customer consultations, while also representing the brands during roadshows, events, and promotional campaigns. Responsibilities
Promote and represent multiple brands across assigned retail outlets, ensuring strong product visibility and brand consistency. Drive retail sales performance by actively engaging customers, delivering product demonstrations, and providing recommendations based on customer needs. Support retail sales activities including in-store promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns. Participate in roadshows, events, and exhibitions to increase product awareness and generate new customer leads. Maintain product displays and merchandising standards to ensure attractive and accurate product presentation. Monitor and report sales performance, customer feedback, and market insights to the supervisor / management team. Assist with stock management including inventory checks, replenishment, and coordination with store staff. Provide excellent customer service and after-sales support, building positive relationships to encourage repeat purchases. Requirements
Education : Minimum SPM / High School Certificate or equivalent. Experience : At least 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service. Communication Skills : Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Customer Service Orientation : Friendly, approachable, and committed to providing excellent service. Flexibility : Willing to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays as required. Presentation : Well-groomed and professional appearance. Sales-driven Mindset : Strong interest in achieving sales targets and delivering results. Multi-brand Experience : Previous experience promoting or supporting more than one brand across retail environments. Event / Roadshow Exposure : Familiarity with roadshows, exhibitions, or promotional events. Product Knowledge : Interest or background in consumer electronics, lifestyle products, or related industries. Language Skills : Ability to speak multiple languages for wider customer engagement. Tech Savvy : Comfortable using digital tools, point-of-sale systems, or mobile apps for sales reporting. Sales Training : Formal training in sales techniques or customer service will be an advantage. Willing to work at various locations within the Klang Valley. Candidates must be willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
