MES Engineer ( IT )

Job Responsibilities

Analyze and understand manufacturing business requirements; collaborate with cross-functional teams to define MES system features and specifications.

Design and develop MES software modules, databases, interfaces, and reports, ensuring system stability and performance.

Configure and integrate the MES system with peripheral systems, including equipment interfaces, ERP systems, and quality management systems (e.g. SPC, YMS).

Troubleshoot system issues and perform performance tuning for MES applications.

Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies; propose system improvements and innovative solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in Computer Science or related fields.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in MES-related system development.

Proficient in C# or Java development; experienced with databases such as SQL Server and MySQL, and capable of writing complex stored procedures and triggers.

Strong understanding of system integration methods and standard interfaces such as OPC (Open Platform Communications) and Web Services; capable of integrating and developing interfaces for MES and peripheral systems.

Skilled in business process analysis and improvement, with the ability to identify manufacturing bottlenecks and design appropriate solutions.

Familiar with automation technologies and factory equipment integration methods, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA systems, and other industrial control systems.

Experience with MES development or implementation on platforms such as SIEMENS Unicam or Camstar is a strong advantage.
