The Business Manager – Retail Finance (Sales) will be responsible for leading the growth and performance of the retail financing business through strategic dealer relationships, sales initiatives, and portfolio management. The role focuses on expanding market share, improving financial product offerings, and ensuring sound risk practices while delivering excellent service across the dealer network.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution : Develop and implement strategies to drive retail financing volume through partnerships with automotive dealers and related channels.
Dealer Relationship Management : Build strong relationships with dealer partners, providing support, training, and solutions to promote finance product adoption.
Product & Pricing Optimization : Collaborate with internal teams to design competitive finance packages, monitor market trends, and adjust pricing models as needed.
Portfolio Oversight : Monitor loan performance metrics, support risk mitigation strategies, and maintain a balanced, profitable retail finance portfolio.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with marketing, credit, operations, and compliance teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment with business goals.
Reporting & Analysis : Provide regular updates on sales performance, portfolio health, and market insights to senior management.
Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and external regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards of governance.
Team Leadership (if applicable) : Lead and guide a team of sales or finance executives, setting clear goals and fostering a high-performance culture.
