Senior Software Engineer – Remote

Proven experience designing API‑first architectures and event‑driven systems. Solid understanding of databases, automation, and distributed architectures. Curiosity about AI, real estate tech, and intelligent automation. A “get it done” mindset—able to balance speed, quality, and scalability. Job Overview
The Flex is reinventing how the world rents. This remote Senior Software Engineer role will help architect and scale the systems that power the Flex platform—from seamless guest bookings and payment flows to predictive automation and global integrations.
What You’ll Build
You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and scaling the software that runs the Flex platform. From backend APIs and automation pipelines to cloud infrastructure and data synchronization, you’ll ensure every system we build is fast, reliable, and intelligent. You’ll work across product, ops, and data teams.
Your Mission
- Architect scalable, high‑performance services that power bookings, payments, and automation workflows.
- Build intelligent microservices and serverless functions that remove repetitive manual work.
- Design infrastructure capable of handling thousands of stays and millions of transactions across continents.
- Integrate Base360.ai with platforms like Airbnb, Stripe, Twilio, and Hostaway.
- Work with AI‑driven automation tools to create predictive and adaptive systems.
- Mentor and elevate junior engineers through code reviews and best‑practice sharing.
