We currently have an exciting opportunity for a part time Cover Supervisor to join our fantastic team at CHS South. This is a part time temporary post for 5 months initially, term time only plus 5 INSET days. The starting salary is £9,999 and the full time equivalent is £29,064 Grade 5. You will be working 14 hours per week and working days are Monday and Tuesday or Thursday and Friday, depending on availability.

The successful candidate will be able to manage classroom behaviour effectively, deliver pre-prepared lessons, and provide feedback on student progress. Experience in a school setting is desirable, but not essential, we welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds who are passionate about education and making a difference.
Main purpose of the job :
As Cover Supervisor you will complement the professional work of teachers by delivering agreed learning activities to whole classes during short‑term staff absences. You will ensure continuity of learning, manage classroom behaviour, and support students in overcoming barriers to learning.
