Join the dynamic team at GSK TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD' as a full-time Sales Assistant Manager, based in Bukit Beruntung (Rawang) Selangor. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the company's sales strategy and contributing to its overall success.
What you'll be doing
- Leading, overseeing and developing effective sales strategies to meet or exceed targets ensuring in driving revenue growth.
- Managing key customer accounts, building strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
- Managing daily sales operations, team supervision, guidance and sales performance and reporting / presentations or any other relevant documentation.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to junior sales professionals to enhance their skills and performance. Implementation of sales training programs, tools development and resources.
- Sourcing and monitoring new businesses development, implement effective sales strategies tailored to local market conditions, analyze and monitor the market trend, competitor activities including identifying new sales opportunities for growth, maintaining strong relations with new or existing clients.
- Collaborate with team / department / suppliers and to streamline the tender, sales and delivery process.
- Monitoring and compiling orders received from the Clients and communicating planning with the Purchasing for timely receiving of raw material and communicating with production for timely delivery.
- Close communication with Clients on forecasting or actual for the day, co-ordinate with Delivery Team, tracking the inventory level and ensure sufficient supply.
- Communicating with related department for suppliers on defective goods and take any remedial / corrective action.
- Understand the regulations of Custom / Forwarding / Shipping.
- Understand and familiar to IATF 16949 requirements.
What we're looking for
Skill / training of Costing / Logistics / Supply Chain / Inventory / Shipping duties / Marketing role, preferably in automotive field or any other related industry.Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and stakeholders.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address customer needs.Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.Well-communicator in bilingual languages; interact with stakeholders from China and Taiwan in Mandarin for all correspondences will be an added advantage.What we offer
