Overview

Senior Specialist, Procurement (Chinese Speaker) role at Organon. Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This position is part of the Global Procurement & Supplier Management (GPSM) Organization and involves developing and executing direct and indirect sourcing strategies, supported by agile processes and supplier performance management.

Responsibilities

Execute and enable catalog strategies to ensure execution with preferred suppliers and leverage negotiated pricing and savings models.
Collaborate with the PPE Leadership team to develop and align KPIs and SLAs to maximize value across GPSM for procurement operational activities and strategic contract support.
Identify AI opportunities for the PPE team, develop business requirements, and create business cases with ROI justification.
Represent PPE on the GPSM AI Team to enable AI tools that streamline procurement operations, reduce costs, and improve decision-making. Support supplier management, risk assessment, and contract negotiations through AI-enabled insights.
Collaborate with internal and external partners on benchmarking, industry trends, and report analysis.
Assist with tactical department improvements, including stakeholder payable support, knowledge articles, and global projects.
Collaborate with the contracting team and provide support when needed.

Coupa; SAP S / 4HANA; Microsoft Office Suite and Teams 365.

Competencies

Dependable self-starter; able to work independently on multiple projects with strong prioritization.

High level of computer literacy; strong communication skills; analytical mindset; attention to detail.

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

Language : English and Chinese (preferred).

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Analytical : ability to analyze large complex data sets to derive insights for sourcing strategies or negotiations.

Ability to communicate with suppliers and stakeholders effectively.

Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment with project management skills to manage interdependencies and timelines.
