UCT is looking for a talented Sr Inventory Control Analyst to join us in Malaysia!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the processing, monitoring, analyzing and giving accurate reporting of an organizations on inventory level.
- Established guidelines to create, administer, and analyze and report on all cycle counts and physical inventory of the organization.
- Responsible for several activities, including resolving errors on inventory transactions, maintaining system accuracy for all inventory including 3rd party and managing adjustments and scraps according to guidelines established by the finance unit.
- Collaborating with other departments and directing cross functional meeting with production planners, material planners, and finance to thoroughly examine processes or issues that negatively impact inventory management.
- Subject matter expert on all the systematic warehouse & Logistics implementation.
- Participate and lead in various external & internal audit on inventory perspective.
- Scrutinize and analyze inventory issues and apply LEAN methods to prepare recommendations for policy / process improvements related to inventory tracking and accuracy.
- Prepare inventory documentation : this involves accurately recording type, quantity, quality, and other features of inventory for a clear understanding of the state of the stocks.
- Ensure the warehouse accuracy are constantly up to standards.
- Drive the material aging and work closely to the material team.
- Recommend operational process, policies and goals to company’s management.
- Responsible for identifying the root cause of all inventory adjustments.
- Drive the KPI for the inventory management.
- Lead the cycle count & PI.
- Train personnel on processes and audit processes.
Educational / Certification Requirement : List both minimum and preferred educational requirements.
At least 6 years' demonstrated experience in Warehouse operations in manufacturing environment for Diploma or Degree holderExperience Requirement :
At least 8 years relevant experience in Warehouse operations in manufacturing environment.Being in a supervisory role for minimum 2 years in the relevant mentioned industry.Highly organized and detailed.Good leadership skills with a strong sense of urgency and responsibility.Proficient in Microsoft Office Application and ERP system (SAP).Effective leadership skills : The manager needs strong leadership skills to carry out recruiting and hiring; resolving conflicts, and keeping the people motivated enough to work effectively.Critical thinking skills : He / she must be able to come up with revolutionary ideas for the company’s growth.Organization skills : The inventory control manager must be able to organize his / her team, schedules, and inventories to ensure efficiency in work delivery.Computer skills : The inventory manager must be able to work with basic computer applications like Microsoft office.He / she should have excellent analytical skills to joggle several contending issues and come up with the best decisions.Excellent logistical skills to be able to track movement of supplies from the supplier to the warehouse.Ability to work under pressure and still maintain ideal disposition towards work.#J-18808-Ljbffr
