Our client ESGright Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Sustainability Consultant (GRI & ISSB Focus) to join their team!

Join our client's Sustainability & Training team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of ESG reporting and sustainability consulting. This role offers a unique opportunity to support assurance and advisory engagements, develop sustainability training materials, and contribute to regulatory readiness assessments.

What you'll be doing?

Support ESG Reporting : Align with GRI, ISSB, TCFD, and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.

Conduct Sustainability Assurance : Validate data and assist with ESG assurance readiness to enhance client confidence.

Develop Training Materials : Create and deliver technical training sessions on sustainability standards to empower clients.

Perform Materiality Assessments : Analyze and map disclosures to identify key sustainability issues for clients.

Draft Sustainability Narratives : Provide insightful reporting narratives and performance insights for client reports.

Stay Updated on Regulations : Keep abreast of emerging ESG regulations to advise clients effectively.

Who are they looking for?

Educational Background : At least bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, Management to provide strong analytical foundation.

Sustainability Experience : At least 3 years of experience in sustainability consulting, sustainability and financial reporting, sustainability assurance and training with proven track record in ESG consulting.

Language Skills : Fluent in English and Malay for effective communication with diverse clients and stakeholders. Fluency in Mandarin is advantageous.

Professional Skills : Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills for successful client engagement.

Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with ESG reporting tools and sustainability standards is advantageous.
