Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train maintenance staff and technicians, ensuring high performance and compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Assign daily maintenance tasks, prioritize work orders, and schedule repairs to minimize disruptions to operations.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment breakdowns and extend asset life.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports using CMMS or manual systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA), conducting regular audits and promoting safe work practices.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
• Monitor inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies; ensure timely replenishment to avoid stockouts.
• Analyze equipment data to recommend improvements, optimize processes, and reduce maintenance costs.
• Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and participate in technical improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, QA, and sanitation departments to align maintenance with operational needs and standards.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely and lasting resolutions.
