Key Responsibilities
Key member of the Senior Technical Committee for IT Security, representing IT Security within ISD Division and PayNet.
Lead automation initiatives across various security functional areas and oversee major improvement projects in Security engineering, especially in Identity Access Management.
Drive security within a DevSecOps culture by developing frameworks and execution strategies, and lead initiatives for cloud-native workloads security enhancements.
Support team members on operational matters related to core functional areas, including customer-facing support.
Areas of Responsibility
Act as a technical committee member and primary reference point for :
- Providing technical support, monitoring, and resolving issues for Kubernetes, IAM solutions, cloud platforms, and security tools.
- Responding to security incidents and vulnerabilities from security tools and audits.
- Guiding developers and operations teams on Kubernetes and security best practices.
- Designing automation and security solutions into GitOps workflows.
- Implementing automated security testing and monitoring tools into CI / CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA).
- Integrating tools and systems with Infrastructure as Code repositories.
- Enhancing security tools within Kubernetes environments.
- Developing and maintaining security documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Automating IAM processes such as user provisioning and de-provisioning.
- Developing specialized IAM security platforms and tools.
- Improving provisioning and fulfillment cycles through automation and fact-gathering.
- Leading initiatives to improve security logging, alerting dashboards, and response lifecycle.
- Serving as SME for IAM, DevSecOps, cloud security, and automation, providing cross-functional advice.
- Mentoring junior team members through knowledge transfer and training.
- Managing support quality for access issues and establishing industry-standard security practices.
- Keeping abreast of emerging risks and proposing controls improvements.
- Upholding security responsibilities as per the company's Information Security Policy.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Qualifications & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Technology, or Software Engineering with at least 8 years of relevant experience.Experience in banking and telecommunications sectors is advantageous.Relevant certifications such as Linux, Kubernetes, AWS Solutions Architect, or Information Security certifications are preferred.Work Experience
Experience with security tools like IDS, firewalls, SIEMs, vulnerability scanners, and code analysis tools.Understanding of software development and operations, familiarity with Agile, DevOps, cloud computing, containers, and microservices.Additional Requirements
