Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Procurement Executive to join our team in Shah Alam, Malaysia. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring cost‑effective and timely acquisition of goods and services for our organization.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise cost savings and improve operational efficiency
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Analyse market trends, pricing data, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify procurement needs and develop sourcing plans
Monitor and renew company tenancy agreements and vehicle leases
Ensure compliance with local and international trade regulations in all procurement activities

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field

3‑5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management

Proficiency in procurement processes, negotiation techniques, and vendor management

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions

Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks efficiently

Knowledge of industry‑specific procurement practices and international trade regulations

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all aspects of work

Fluency in English; knowledge of Malay or other local languages is a plus
