The Role
ThoughtFull is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth in Malaysia and across Southeast Asia. In this role, you will identify, nurture, and close high-value enterprise and partnership opportunities, taking full ownership of your sales pipeline — from prospecting to closing. You will collaborate cross-functionally to refine our go-to-market strategy and strengthen our presence in current markets while expanding into new ones, building a scalable, sustainable sales engine.
Responsibilities
- Own and scale the Enterprise sales and partnership (insurance / broker / TPA) pipeline, ensuring sufficient lead generation to meet quarterly and annual KPIs
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead generation, qualifying, negotiation to closing & contracting
- Develop strategic BD plans tailored to enterprise HR, Benefits, and Wellness segments across key markets
- Drive partner salesforce enablement across teams by providing assets, conducting trainings, ensuring regular asset refresh and collaborating with the Revenue team to progress opportunities
- Constantly iterating to capture the ideal target persona company as we grow into new markets
- Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Client Success, Product, Ops, and Clinical to optimize go-to-market approach and improve Sales strategy and process flow
- Leverage CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Pipedrive) to maintain pipeline hygiene, generate insights, and forecast performance
Requirements
7-10 years' experience in sales and new business developmentPreferably experience selling to HR Benefits, Talent Engagement, or Talent Development teams; experience working with insurers is a strong plusLanguage : Fluent in English and Chinese to support global stakeholdersProven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a high-growth or startup environmentConfident communicator who builds trust with diverse stakeholdersFluent in CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive) with a strong grasp of sales pipelines and data-driven metrics to establish measurable, repeatable sales processesComfortable operating independently, making decisions amid ambiguity, and being proactiveAlways excited to take on new challenges and experiment with different approaches to tap into emerging market nichesEqual Opportunity
