Established in 2008, Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara (“THKD”), formerly known as Tropicana Medical Centre, is the flagship hospital of TMC Life Sciences Berhad, one of the fastest growing healthcare group in Malaysia. We provide outstanding, value‑based medical care to the highest standards through world‑class facilities and comprehensive medical and surgical services. Located in a prime alcove in greater Kuala Lumpur, THKD is easily accessible via all modes of transport, including the Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system.

As a multidisciplinary tertiary hospital, we house a panel of over 100 Consultant Specialists with internationally accredited qualifications from institutions across the globe in Malaysia, Australia, India, Singapore, United Kingdom and United States of America. With our state‑of‑the‑art medical technology and modern facilities, we are able to deliver world‑class quality of care to local, regional, and international patients.

In line with our vision of being an international healthcare hub, THKD is embarking on an expansion project that will triple its capacity from 205 to 600 beds, complete with new centres of excellence, health screening centre, additional operating theatres and specialist clinics, exciting concept stores and plenty of parking space. Targeted to complete by 2021, the expansion will make THKD one of the largest private hospitals in the region.
