Senior Engineer, Development Planning

Client : A subsidiary of a leading oil and gas exploration and production company.

Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Type of hiring : Contract

Responsibilities :

I.  Project Development Planning :

• Formulate and propose development possibilities for the Project in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, considering treatment and transportation facilities, production well, and CCS requirements.
• Coordination and liaison with reservoir engineers, geologists, geophysicists, engineering, and commercial teams to complete long-term development studies and field development plan (FDP) reports relevant to the Project, ensuring project objectives are met.
• Drive the development of integrated planning for project field development and Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) as part of the Project.
• Coordinate CCS-related activities, including but not limited to CCS regulation, CCS EIA, storage field depletion and abandonment plans, and the development of a Measurement, Monitoring, and Verification (MMV) Plan customized specifically for the Project.
• Prepare comprehensive reference papers for pre-projects and work closely with the Pre-Project Team to guarantee timely and high-quality study deliverables.
