Job descriptionWork directly with clients to understand process requirements. Provide technical advice, recommendations, and solutions to customers. Ensure projects meet deadlines, budget, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Integrate PLC systems with other control systems, such as Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), or Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Lead the programming, debugging, and testing of PLC systems.
- Perform Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
- Oversee installation, calibration, and commissioning of automation equipment at client sites.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications.
- Guide and mentor junior PLC programmers / technicians.
- Conduct training sessions on PLC programming and best practices.
- Review and approve control system designs and software prepared by team members.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues and offer guidance on best practices.
